Brexit big deal for us but not for most European companies

Irish companies reckon Brexit is their biggest concern immediately after labour cost rises. But across Europe less than 10% of companies consider the exit of the UK as a concern worth mentioning, according to a survey of more than 50,000 businesses by Eurochambres, the European network of chambers of commerce. Ian Talbot, Chief Executive of Chambers Ireland and Deputy President of Eurochambres,  said it is alarming that businesses across Europe are not more concerned by the potential impact of the loss of the EU’s second biggest market. It could also indicate that there will be little pressure from business interests on EU governments to make concessions in Brexit negotiations.
